I ended up having to cancel my rental because my plans changed last minute, which was annoying since I’d already blocked off the whole weekend for it. I wasn’t expecting much, but the refund came through really quickly and I didn’t have to chase anyone down or deal with a bunch of back-and-forth. it was way easier than I expected

"Damage waiver made the rental feel way less stressful"
I rented a lens for a weekend trip, I think it was sometime in late spring or maybe early summer, and decided to add the damage waiver just to be safe. I’m usually careful with gear, but carrying around an expensive lens all day still makes me a little nervous.
Nothing ended up happening, thankfully, but it was nice knowing that little accidents wouldn’t turn into a huge headache. Checkout was simple, the return was easy, and overall it made the whole rental feel a lot more relaxed. I’d definitely use borrowlenses again.

"Reservation was easier than I expected"
I’ve only used BorrowLenses to make a reservation so far, so I guess I can’t speak to the whole rental experience yet, but it was easy. I kept thinking I was missing a step or that the dates would get confusing, but the site laid everything out clearly. Finding the gear was simple, checkout didn’t drag on, and I liked being able to see the total before paying. I also changed my rental dates once because I wasn’t totally sure, and that was no problem. Overall, it was a really smooth process.

I had a question about the timing for my rental, so I sent a message not expecting a quick reply. But they got back to me fast, and you could tell it was a real answer to my actual question, not just some generic copy-paste response.
That made everything feel a lot less stressful, especially since I was working with a tight schedule. You know how support can sometimes disappear once you place an order, but that wasn’t the case here. I’d definitely rent from them again.

Everything was straightforward. The price I saw at checkout matched what I ended up paying, and the dates and fees were easy to understand. "I rented a Canon lens and a..."
I rented a Canon lens and a tripod for a two-day weekend shoot, everything went smoother than I expected. Compared to some other rental setups I’ve seen people complain about, this gear showed up clean, packed really well, and ready to use right out of the case.
I used it for an outdoor family session, and the photos came out sharp. The autofocus was quick, the glass looked clean with no scratches that I noticed, and even the battery grip worked normally without any random issues.
The only small downside was that the case was kind of bulky to carry around, especially when everyone else seemed to be traveling lighter. But the equipment itself was reliable and did exactly what I needed, so I’d definitely rent again.

The price was way better than I expected, the shipping showed up right on time, and the lens was clean and ready to go, which is always a relief when you’re packing last minute and hoping everything works out. Sending it back was easy too, no hassle or weird extra steps. For needing nicer camera gear for just a few days, borrowlenses really worked out for me, and I’ll definitely use them again.

"Totally came through for my wedding shoot"
I rented from borrowlenses for a wedding I was shooting, and it was such a relief. Everything showed up on time, was packed really well, and worked exactly like it should. I remember the box had this oddly bright strip of blue tape on it for some reason, which stuck in my head, but the important thing is there was zero stress. For a big job like that, that matters a lot.
